Interment Rights

Interment rights (burial rights / burial lots) are available through the individual cemetery owners that are part of the Mount Sinai Cemetery Association (MSCA). The cemeteries listed below currently have interment rights available to purchase.

The MSCA is not involved in the sale, or pricing. Each cemetery owner is free to set their own prices. Interment rights sales are regulated by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO). Details on purchasing interment rights can be obtained at www.thebao.ca

Each cemetery owner charges, or does not charge, for the following items. This list includes many, but not necessarily all, aspects of an interment rights purchase. Please ensure you are aware of what you are purchasing, and what additional fees may be incurred. An interment Rights Certificate should be issued once the purchase is complete.

Care & Maintenance fee on a monument
Foundation fee (Monument is placed on a foundation)
Permit fee to allow for a monument
Administrative fees charged at the time of purchase / burial / monument placement
Opening / Closing fee charged at the time of need
