GREY ZONE - LOCKDOWN

Stay-At-Home Order in Effect - Essential Travel Only

Effective January 14th, 2021, and until further notice, the Province of Ontario has issued a Declaration of Emergency - Stay-At-Home Order. The maximum number of attendees at a funeral service is limited to 10 (ten) people, including clergy.  This would mean, 9 + 1 clergy at a funeral service.  There is no flexibility on this number.  Funeral home and cemetery staff are additional.

As a result of Covid, all funeral services are being handled graveside.   Graveside services allow for all aspects of the funeral (in the past, typically held at a funeral home chapel or synagogue and the interment occurring  at the burial location.)  The cemetery does not impose a time restriction on the service, although the funeral home handling the service may have specific timing allocated for a service.

Visiting our cemetery grounds

The Province of Ontario has issued a Declaration of Emergency - Stay At Home Order, only essential travel. While the cemetery grounds remain open, visitors are reminded that the provincial maximum for gatherings is limited to 5 persons.

Our administrative office remains closed to visitors.  Our hand washing station is not set-up.

While Ontario is in a GREY ZONE, as provincially mandated, all groups (including funerals) are limited to a maximum of 10 persons.

At this time, no unveilings will be scheduled from January onward.

Social distancing of 2m (6') from anyone not living within your home must occur, in addition to wearing a face covering while others are in your general area.
