Although the cemetery is open for funerals, we are NOT encouraging visitors at this time. Please STAY AT HOME, and stay safe.
STAY AT HOME ORDER
The entire province of Ontario is currently under a State of Emergency, STAY AT HOME order. The maximum number of attendees at a funeral service is restricted to 10 INCLUDING clergy. Please do NOT attend a funeral service unless specifically "invited" by the immediate family. All funeral attendees must submit contact info to the funeral home prior to arrival.
As a result of Covid, all funeral services are being handled graveside. Graveside services allow for all aspects of the funeral (in the past, typically held at a funeral home chapel or synagogue and the interment occurring at the burial location.) The cemetery does not impose a time restriction on the service, although the funeral home handling the service may have specific timing allocated for a service.
While the cemetery grounds remain open, our administrative office remains closed to visitors.
Our hand washing station is not set-up.
All gatherings (including funerals) are extremely restricted with a
maximum number of 10 (including clergy) that may attend.
At this time, no unveilings will be scheduled from April onward.
Social distancing of 2m (6') from anyone not living within your home must occur, in addition to wearing a face covering while others are in your general area.
